Tall Ships 2008
The summer of 2008 brought dozens of tall ships to the West Coast. Victoria, B.C., and Tacoma, Washington, were two of the stops on the American Sail Training Association's Tall Ship Challenge. I was delighted to be at both events...and even more delighted to have the opportunity not only to be aboard the U.S. Coast Guard's training vessel Eagle from Seattle to Tacoma but to have the chance to climb up in her rigging, as well!
